Self Catering
Wakkerstroom Villager is a romantic self catering suite for 2. It as a well-kitted tiny kitchen, romantic Victorian bath set in the window with mountain view, shower en-suite, a wood burning fireplace and comfy chairs, semi-enclosed veranda, and its very own braai and boma area.
Guest House
The well restored Guest house dates back to 1901. Families, are catered for with a family suite & by booking for 8 people. There is a wheelchair friendly room, a Guest lounge with fireplace, a dining/games area, and access to a mini bar fridge and braai facilities.
Camp Site
4 site camp sites have individual private ablutions. You wont know the luxury until you experience it. Each is fitted with a power point for charging items. One ablution is wheelchair friendly. There are 2 extra sites available for BYO ie campervans or 4×4 camping. All sites have mountain views, tap, braai stand & access to power (bring 30m cable). CampINC.158 is in the village with direct access off the main tar road. Its safe and feels like you are in the country, but you can walk to shops.
With limited space its advisable to book your dates in advance!!
Restaurant
The DeKotzenhof on site restaurant receives rave reviews from all Guests.
Breakfasts and set 3 course dinners are prepared for you by chef and co-owner Mark, based on dietary requirements. He uses the freshest local ingredients.
On site Deli
Our onsite deli/gallery is stocked with 3 ranges of homemade jams and preserves, homemade biscuits and rusks.
Boma
Our outdoor stone Boma, with mountain view is popular with locals and Internationals alike. The Boma seats 20 people comfortably and is equipped with potjie pots and braai grids.
Its great for star gazing on clear nights.
Putt-Putt
The 9 hole putt-putt course ( mini golf) is available free of charge to all DeKotzenhof Guests.
Outsiders pay R50pp for 18 holes (a double round) between 10am and 3pm over weekends or by arrangement.
